We ask that you enroll using a recognizable personal email (e.g., Gmail) or your corporate email, and that the name on the email matches the name on the PayPal account used for payment. We do not accept anonymized email services (such as ProtonMail or similar privacy-routed providers).  This is a light step that applies equally to every buyer in this category and exists to keep enrollment records transparent and consistent with the payment trail.

What Happens If You Purchase Without Required Verification

If you purchase a training that requires verification but you have not yet verified your organizational affiliation. Send verification - email us from your corporate or official email address so we can confirm eligibility and activate access. If you cannot establish eligibility, the payment is refunded minus processing fee outlined below. Please contact us before purchasing if you are unsure.

What You Need Before You Start

You decide when to begin. If you're traveling, unavailable, or planning to begin later, let us know at the time of purchase and we will delay account provisioning until a time that works for you.

A working email address (corporate email where verification is required)

A modern web browser — latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge

Comfort reading and understanding English (all materials, support, and communication are in English)

Time and discipline — all courses are self-paced

How You Access the Training

All training is delivered exclusively through the EPCYBER Training Platform. The platform is the sole delivery channel. All course content — written materials, video lessons where applicable, exercises, exams, and supporting materials — is hosted within the platform and viewable only while logged in. Modules are delivered sequentially. 

Post-Purchase Process

You receive a payment confirmation email. We provision your account on the EPCYBER Training Platform and send you your login credentials with access instructions. You log in and begin training at your pace. 

Account Access Policy

Each purchase grants access to one individual student only.

Login credentials are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, lend, or distribute them — not with colleagues, not within your organization, not with anyone. Any login activity is presumed to be by the credentialed student. Multiple individuals accessing a single account is a direct violation of these terms. 

Access Period

Your access period begins from the moment of your first login to the EPCYBER Training Platform. The access period is counted in calendar days, including weekends and public holidays. A 30-day access period means 30 consecutive days. If your access begins on the 1st of June, it closes on the 1st of July.

The platform displays your remaining access time directly in your account — this is the official tracker.  No extensions are granted for unused time or failure to monitor the expiry date, except at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Platform Reliability and Maintenance

The EPCYBER Training Platform is designed for reliable, continuous availability. Routine maintenance is scheduled to minimize disruption. In the rare case of unplanned downtime, we work to restore access as quickly as possible.

Within our control — issues caused by our own code, configuration, or technical problems with login or platform navigation.  Beyond our control — incidents at third-party hosting providers, upstream infrastructure outages, or external services the platform depends on.  Access days lost due to this or other downtime are automatically extended. If you experience any technical issue, open a support ticket from within your account or email us — we will resolve it as quickly as possible.

Accepted Payment Methods

Courses can be purchased using PayPal. For large organizations and pre-approved cases, we may provide Wire Transfer. If you are a company and wish to buy a course for your employee, complete the purchase and email us with the employee's details so we can provision their account.

Certificate of Completion

Certificates are generated automatically upon completion of all required modules and exams. Each certificate carries a unique identifier and can be verified through the EPCYBER certificate verification page. 

Exams and Assessment

Selected courses include structured exam components on the platform. Where exams are part of a course, your progression and certificate issuance are tied to exam completion and required passing thresholds. You receive 10 exam attempts per course. Exams confirm core knowledge. Hands-on practice — replicating and experimenting with the methods covered in the materials — is what builds the operational ability the training is designed to develop. The two work together.

Live Zoom Sessions

Live Zoom sessions are conducted face-to-face. Exceptions are made exclusively for active government, federal, intelligence, and military personnel, who may attend with their camera off for privacy reasons. To schedule a session or ask questions live, email us or open a support ticket within the platform.

What Happens If You Violate These Terms

All course materials are strictly view-only. You may not download, print, screenshot, screen-record, photograph, copy, reproduce, redistribute, transcribe, summarize for redistribution, or extract any part of the content in any form — privately or publicly, personally or commercially. You may not attempt to circumvent or interfere with the platform's protections, including: manipulating API requests or responses, inspecting or modifying source code, using developer tools to extract content, intercepting network traffic, automating access, scraping, or any other technical or non-technical means of capturing or identifying the source of protected materials.

Any such attempt is fully logged, is a direct violation of these terms, and will result in immediate access termination with no refund. If your access is affected because you used a VPN, notify us and we will review and restore access promptly. The platform will also display in-app alerts when it detects connection anomalies — please pay attention to those notifications.

Refunds and Cancellations

You may request a cancellation within 30 days of purchase if no account has been provisioned and no access has been granted. Once you have logged in, access is considered started and refunds are not possible. Refund specifics: PayPal — up to 10% transaction fee is not refundable. Wire transfers — bank fees charged during the transfer are not refundable.

Privacy, Data, and Monitoring

We collect only what we need to process your purchase, operate your platform account, deliver course materials, and protect the integrity of the platform. This includes your email address, login activity, platform usage data, and where applicable your professional affiliation for verification. The platform logs and monitors student activity for intellectual property protection, terms enforcement, account integrity, student experience, and platform security. Logged activity includes login sessions, access times, content viewed, progress, exam attempts and results, support interactions, and any technical signals indicative of unauthorized access attempts, account sharing, or attempts to circumvent platform protections. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties except as set out in our Privacy Statement or where required by law. We do not send unsolicited marketing or share subscriber lists. 

Course Content Changes, Upgrades, Gifts

The world of OSINT moves fast, especially in China — links change, platforms update, techniques evolve. We work hard to keep materials current, but we cannot guarantee every link, tool, or method will work at the time of your access or thereafter. What we do guarantee is the framework. Our training is designed to build your independent ability to navigate, adapt, identify alternatives, and develop your own sources. The goal is for you to leave with the thinking and the practical skills, not just the steps. Upgrades - From time to time we release content upgrades. Purchasing a course does not entitle you to future upgrades. Whether a previous student receives access to new content is decided case by case, at our discretion. Gifts - We may at our discretion provide complimentary content — gifted publications, bonus materials, or content from other trainings — extended as a courtesy alongside your purchase. Complimentary content is provided and revoked entirely at our discretion. If we close or revoke access to complimentary content, you are not entitled to any refund, credit, or other financial compensation in connection with it.

Policy Changes & Prior Communications

EPCYBER reserves the right to update its eligibility criteria, verification procedures, pricing, terms, and any other policies at any time, without prior notice. Updates supersede all previous versions in full. Any prior communications, approvals, eligibility confirmations, promotional offers, discount codes, or statements made by EPCYBER staff under previous versions of these terms are not binding under the current policy and do not constitute a guarantee of enrollment, pricing, or access under updated terms. EPCYBER reserves the right to revoke, at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason, any prior approval, eligibility confirmation, or offer that has not yet resulted in a completed and delivered purchase.

Legal

It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms prior to purchase. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to everything on this page. When purchasing on behalf of an organization, the purchaser confirms they have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of that organization and that the terms have been reviewed by relevant stakeholders. Access to the course materials, delivered exclusively through the EPCYBER Training Platform, constitutes a limited, temporary, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal educational use only. Any unjustified chargeback or payment reversal after platform access has been provided will be treated as a breach of these terms and may result in immediate termination of access, pursuit of the outstanding balance, and a ban from future purchases. We are not responsible for third-party websites we may link to from this site. We make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from completing our training. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our course materials or the EPCYBER Training Platform.
